BETULA UTILIS First Build 2020
Betula Utilis is a wooden mountainbike frame made of laminated Birch Plywood with inlays and decorations of American Cherry. The build features a unique design around the bottom bracket and seatpost.
Fraxinus Excelsior is a wooden mountainbike frame made of solid Ash, Pine and Birch plywood. The main tube and decorations are made of Pine with a finnish using Sou Sugi Ban and a subsequent staining to a red tint.
Larix Decidua is a wooden mountainbike frame of Ash and Larch. The idea is to test the concept of using the two-tube seatpost design to create a wooden frame with a rear wheel suspension.
